BLOOD PRESSURE APPOINTMENTS

Please remember to arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment to give your heart rate a chance to steady. Please wear loose clothing and refrain from Caffeine and Nicotine for at least 30 minutes prior to your Blood Pressure appointment.

 

All Dr. Bunney's patients have been transferred to his job-share partner Dr. Jackie Tolhurst. She has increased her number of surgeries per week. We are currently interviewing for his replacement at the moment and awaiting appointment. If any of Dr. Bunney's patients wish to change their doctor please speak to a member of reception. Dr. Oliver Hassall is taking on new patients.

Our Community Team

Community nurses

Our Community nurses provide nursing care for housebound patients.  The team can be contacted on 01271 322185.

For any urgent enquiries, i.e. where a patient requires same day treatment, please contact reception on 01271 329004.

PregnancyCommunity Midwives

Our Midwives run antenatal clinics and we offer a maternity service in co-operation with the Maternity Department at the Hospital.  They can be contacted on 01271 314235.  They normally run antenatal clinics at the practice three times per week and share pregnancy care with your own doctor. 

If you think you are pregnant you should see your doctor in the first instance, who will then arrange for you to see a midwife.

Community Psychiatric nurse

Referral to the Community Psychiatric nurse is normally made through your doctor.

Community Physiotherapist

We have a Community Physiotherapist at the practice.  Referral is usually made through your doctor.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors are trained in public health nursing.  They are concerned with the promotion of good health and lifestyle, and the prevention of ill health for all age groups.  They hold clinics and offer advice and support on the health, welfare and development of children and their families.
